Regular Donation

Beatrice’s studies have been supported by Team Malawi since 2023, she is studying Nursing and Midwifery at Ekwendeni College. Owing to economic problems in Malawi and the increase in university fees her family were unable to continue supporting her. Beatrice’s fees are around £1300 per year.

Christmas Bursary Appeal

A place at one of the top national boarding schools would cost about £100 per term while the fee at a local day secondary school is only £16 a term but even that is way beyond the means of most Malawian parents whose priority is providing food for the family.

Elija (pictured on the right) is 16 and in his third year. His parents rely on uncertain income from fishing and without a bursary Elija would not be in school today.

In a recent video-call with Team Malawi, arranged by the local priest, this chess player whose favourite subject is biology, spoke about his end-game: to become a doctor.
